What you'll be doing
You'll own the sales ledger and be the driving force behind getting invoices raised, chased, and paid. Day to day that means:
Raising and issuing customer invoices, including uploading to customer portals where needed
Chasing outstanding invoices by phone and email, and resolving queries with customers and internal teams
Monitoring debtor balances and running risk checks using in-house systems
Supporting the wider finance team — purchase invoice processing, scanning, supplier/client onboarding paperwork
Answering and directing calls for the main office
What you'll need (essential)
At least 2 years' experience in credit control role
Experience with Sage 50 Accounts
Strong communication skills; confident on the phone and in writing
Sharp attention to detail and a data-driven mindset
A proactive, organised approach; you don't wait to be told twice
